Sunday!!!

The kids and I started our week off right...church this morning at Oak Pointe!!! Great message to dads!

After church was back to the soccer fields...Alex first then Autumn and Drew later just in time for the downpour of rain! They were troopers! One more day for Autumn tomorrow then we are done!

Craig got home from 4 days of work and we had a great evening with the kids!! While playing Levi told me he was pooping so we ran to the potty and he went!!! SO proud of him!!!

Ready for our first full week of vacation! I want to do a 10 week study of the Fruits of the Spirit with the kids! Need to figure what I want to do and get it going tomorrow!!!

Soccer Tryouts...

The Lyon FC Tryouts for next fall through spring...Alex tried out for U11 and made the Blue team but was asked to play for the Black team too! He was SO excited about that and it is an honor. Drew tried out for U10 and there were enough boys for 2 teams and he made the Black team! Theremis talk that he may play for U9 too since that is his regular age group and they are short players!

Proud of the boys! Autumn goes today and Monday for her tryout so we'll see how that goes...I know she will do great!

The soccer club is really growing and it's fun to be a part of! I worked the sign in table yesterday and got to know so more families! Lynne Lach is our new club President and I know she'll do great things as we continue to grow. I am having fun stepping into manager positions and helping out more!!!

2nd day of summer vacation!

This morning the boys and I woke up and relaxed a little before getting ready for the day...Drew did a great job of getting his chores done and was proud to mark them off on his new chart! We left the house around 11 and ran to Sams Club and Target before picking up Autumn from her friend Brieana's! We then drove to Ann Arbor so the kids could spend some time with their dad while Levi and I went to the mall and met Amanda Bowen and her 3 kids there! After we got home the boys went to a friends for a couple hours and the rest of us are getting some rest!

Last day of school...first day of Summer Vacation!

June 14th...the kids have been waiting for this day for SO long! The last day of school...although honestly, I don't think my kids mind going to school everyday. All 3 kids had amazing teachers and a great year! They love their friends and school...it was a sad day to leave Hardy Elementary for the last time! Next year we will be going to Sayre Elementary and the kids are a little nervous, but also excited! We have 82 days to have some fun before we head back...Alex a 5th grader and Drew & Autumn as 3rd graders!!!

Today we started our vacation with End of School Year Parties...Drew went to his friend Brady's house and had a fun Water Slide party with pizza and ice cream! Alex, Autumn, Levi and I went to the Burrell house for a pool party! We had a lot of fun and spent the day swimming and eating :) Lots of friends and fun in the sun to start summer vacation off right!

Spring!!!

Spring has sprung!!! This 80' weather is fabulous in March!!! We have been outside everyday and every evening pulling weeds, riding bikes, shooting the bow & arrow (Craig & the boys) taking walks, playing soccer...just having fun!

Last night we put all the kids to bed and Craig and I were relaxing a little in front of the tv. We were listening to and watching Levi on the monitor....what a cutie! He was laying on his back, looking up to the ceiling and saying, "Hi Mommy!" "Hi Daddy!" "I, Levi Pritchett!" "I, Levi Pritchett!" "I, Levi Pritchett!" SO adorable!

Really??? It's been that long????

Has it really been over a year since my last post...I'm so not good at this blogging thing! So much in our life has changed this past year...

Since I can't go back and remember every great or challenging that happened to our family...I will start fresh once again!

It's March, but feels like summer out! We have been enjoying mid to high 70's all week and it's suppose to stay this nice for at least another week! The windows and doors are open and the kids are playing outside! Love it!!!

Craig has been busy doing things around the house in this nice weather when he is home and we've enjoyed some nice walks on the Rail Trail near the house too! He has been working lots and we are very thankful for his job. He now gets 3 weeks vacation and we already enjoyed the first one in February. We went down to Ft. Myers Beach for a week before our Orlando vacation with my family! It was a great vacation with beautiful weather and a great view from our oceanfront hotel! We are planning a trip to Gatlinburg over Spring Break and then he has the week of Ryan's graduation in May!

Alex, Drew & Autumn have been busy with school and soccer! They are all doing really well and enjoying all their friends and activities. We have been busy planning Alex's 10th bday party! He's waited 5 years to have a "friend" party! We are hoping to go to Paradise Park for Laser Tag and a Bounce House Obstacle Course! Autumn is busy with all her friends and playdates! Drew is our math man and loves to figure out problems all the time!

Levi is getting so big so fast! He says the cutest little things! If you ask him if he's a baby he says, "I not a baby, I a BIG boy!" Around Christmas time I winked at him and he winked back! He can wink with both eyes and gives the cutest little smile with it! Adorable! He loves "Cars" right now and almost always has 2 cars in his hands at all times. He recently started loving Dinos too! He's at a fun age! We went to the Zoo the other day and enjoyed watching the animals!

Ryan was accepted to Georgia Tech for the fall and we are so proud of him! He is playing baseball right now and just starred in his school play as the Beast in Beauty and the Beast! We are hoping he has some time to visit this summer before college begins.

I have been busy with different commitments...at our church (Oak Pointe) there is a Moms Bible Study that I've been helping with. It's been great to meet and get to know other moms in our area. I also committed to be the Cookie Mom for Autumn's Brownie Troop and the Team Manager for Autumn's soccer team....what was I thinking???? :) I have been wanting to get in shape and start exercising so I finally did it...I started the "Couch to 5K" and I'm on Week 3 starting tomorrow. The mornings Craig is home I've been waking up at 5:50am to exercise with Lisa in her basement on the treadmill. It's working out good so far. Some mornings its really hard to get out of bed, but I'm so glad I did it once I'm back home.

Well...that's our update! I do hope to update more often and I'll try to get some pictures on here too!!!

Here it is...another evening at home with my family! Craig has been home the last few days so it has been nice to share the load! I have been really thinking about life lately and how much I have to be thankful for...it's overwhelming! God is so good!

The kids and I had a great trip to Florida and Georgia in February...a few weeks ago I celebrated my 34th birthday! On Thursday, Craig took Levi and I out to lunch at the California Pizza Kitchen and I picked out a cupcake dessert at Just Baked!!! Yummy! On Friday morning (my actual bday) I went out to breakfast with my friend Lisa, her mom and another friend Hope, we went to the mall to shop a little (had some money from my in-laws to spend) and then our small group met at my sisters house that night and we had yummy dessert and celebrated again! On Saturday, I went to a movie and out to dinner for a Girls Night Out...it was so much fun! A fun filled birthday week!!! I am blessed!

I have been going to a Moms Bible Study at Brightmoor church in Novi on Tuesday mornings...LOVING it! The study itself is great and the fellowship with the ladies is just what I need! The past few months we have been trying out a few churches in the area to see where our family fits and where God wants us right now. Oak Pointe in Novi is where we have landed. The kids love their classes and are excited about what they are learning. I am really excited about what the church as a whole is doing! The EACH (Everybody A Chance to Hear) outreach is a great way to reach out to friends, family and neighbors...there are over 400 other churches all working together to make sure the people of Metro Detroit know that God loves them and wants to be a part of their lives!!! Our small group has been meeting every Friday and that has been a blessing too!

Things have been busy around here as usual. The boys are done with winter sports so we have a few weeks off from running to Flag Football and Soccer...but mid April is coming fast and then we'll be back to it! Autumn and I just had a Mom/Daughter Tea with her Daisy Troop and that was a fun day out to get a little dressed up and have special time just the two of us! We are excited once again to be packing up and heading south for a week or so for Spring Break! The weather in Michigan right now is not spring enough for me!!! I am so thankful Craig has some time off and we can get away as a family and visit lots of family while we're gone. We will be in GA a few days to see RYAN and Craig's parents and extended family, then down to FL to see my parents, my aunt & uncle, the kids get to see their Grandma...family everywhere!!!
